EXPEDITION CAMPS

Expedition Camp day runs from 9:00am-3:45pm
Drop-off begins no earlier than 8:40 and pick-up begins no earlier than 3:20

This exciting program offering lets our campers explore their sense of adventure in the great outdoors. Whether they’re high among the tree tops or tackling a rugged trail, our dynamic outdoor educators and activity specialists provide a memorable week of new experiences and perspectives.

Expedition Camps combine mornings of focused program time until noon, with lunch and elective activities in the afternoons.

Bikes

Grades 5th - 8th: weeks 5 & 6

Head to local bike trails and enjoy the freedom of mountain biking with our experienced guides to lead the way. Basic bike maintenance instruction and learning rules of the road are part of this full mountain biking experience on cool trails each day.
Campers must provide their own mountain bikes and helmets.
This program is for experienced bikers and could include rides from 4-8miles per day.

Ropes

Grades 5th - 8th: weeks 4 & 7

For campers who want to challenge themselves to reach new “heights”, this immersion in challenge course activity is a unique offering you won’t want to miss. From the initial 2 mornings of team building initiatives, campers then explore high ropes elements, the climbing wall, belaying, knot tying, and testing their own limits on the ground and in the air.

Trails

Grades 5th - 8th: week 6

Hit the local hiking trails with our beloved Fenn faculty member and nature educator Morgan Laird. Basic orienteering, observing nature, and discovering native plants and animals are all part of this week of exploring our nearby natural treasures. Different locations might include Punkatasset, the Concord River at our North Campus, Great Brook, and the Old North Bridge trails. Campers will venture off campus for the morning and return for lunch and afternoon electives.
