*The FOOD- we have a full service dining hall for lunch everyday at no cost, you can choose from hot entrees, a full salad bar, sandwich bar, vegetarian options, gluten free options, vegan choices and more! Staff snacks are also provided, cold drinks on your scheduled breaks, and special treats for staff meetings.

*The TEAM- We are college students, year round educators, coaches, nannies, paraprofessionals, activity specialists, etc- all of whom love working with kids. Not only will you find a responsive Director, Assistant Director and Camp Admin, but also an entire Coordinator team in every area of camp to directly support the staff and kids in their division or program. We are a team that collaborates in problem solving so everyone can be heard and seen.

*The GEAR- Our longtime returning staff have a full array of camp tees, long sleeve staff tees, sport-tek pullovers, lifeguard cozy hoodies, logo baseball caps, and more. Who doesn’t love cool swag?!

*The PAY- We are consistently assessing the industry standard and you’ll find Summer Fenn at the top range in terms of compensation for our employees, commensurate with skill set and experience level.

Summer Fenn Staff Requirements: OUR 2024 SEASON RUNS FROM 6/24- 8/16
Group counselors and aquatic staff typically work full time, 8 weeks. Leadership team and Specialty Camp staff may have 4 week schedule options.

• Minimum age/grade required -graduating high school senior

• Have solid experience working with groups of children and/or activity delivery (coaching, teaching, day care settings, volunteer work, etc.)

• Possess strong stress management and communication skills

• Standard First Aid and CPR certified candidates preferred
  (if hired, there may be opportunities for certification during our staff training)

• Valid driver's license

• Red Cross Lifeguard and/or WSI training are highly desirable

• Challenge Course experience is highly desirable
